It’s easy to overlook pizza as a way to quell hunger pangs, but sink your teeth into the selections here and you’re quickly reminded that it’s an art form unto itself. The pies are, well, epic (and certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, one of just a few in the state), and well-seasoned—topped with a zesty tomato sauce and bold ingredients. Then there is that crust—chewy and blistered with just the right amount of char. You could come just for pizza, but that would mean missing out on such delicious dishes as polpo—smoky octopus dressed with anchovy vinaigrette and set atop tomatoes. It’s so much more than just a “salad.”
The bustling interior doesn’t distract from the goods. On a nice day, grab a seat on the sidewalk to imbibe the bliss.
