In 1979, the branch office of Sichuan provincial government in Beijing opened this restaurant to cure the homesickness among travelling Sichuan officials with comfort food from home. It opened its doors to the public in 1995 and has been a popular spot among locals ever since. The room was updated recently, but the prices remain approachable. Come here for the all-time classics: mouth-watering chicken, Fuqi beef offal, and Sichuan boiled fish.
