An intriguing, innovative concept combining Tagesbar ("daytime bar", serving great cocktails) and Esszimmer (meaning "dining room"). Hidden behind a curtain, and with only a handful of covers, the stylish restaurant has a pleasantly private feel. They serve a modern set menu (a vegetarian version is available if pre-ordered), in which chef Alexander Kumptner incorporates the occasional and subtle Italian or Asian accent into his own style – "vongole, 'nduja, orzo, basil" is a good example. The focus is on the high quality of the ingredients. The professional and charming service runs like clockwork.
