Chef Rodrigo Aguiar, originally from Rio de Janeiro, combined his skills with owner Giovanna Perrone to realise her dream here. This charming restaurant features an open kitchen where guests can view the wood oven and churrasco grill, both of which exude the smoky flavours for which Casa Rios is famous. If you sit at the bar counter, you can watch the preparation process in full flow as well as appreciate the aromas emanating from the kitchen. The cuisine here is based around typical Brazilian cooking with a focus on the south-east of the country, using ingredients from small-scale producers and a constant nod to seasonality. Whether you opt for the tasting menu or à la carte, make sure you try the wood oven-baked pizzeta of merguez sausage made with cornbread – an absolute must!
