Chef-Owner Axel Nordahl grew up in this area of Oslo and always hoped to open a restaurant in the neighbourhood; years later his dream has come true and he's running this rustically styled spot, dominated by its kitchen counter and embellished by some eye-catching artwork. The cooking comes in the form of a set 4 or 7 course menu, where seafood from cod to hamachi plays a big role. The latter hints at the subtle Japanese influence, which enhances the produce.
