Istria is famous for its excellent truffles and this restaurant is considered by foodies to be one of the best places to enjoy this delicious speciality. Zigante’s mostly meat-based dishes are enhanced with either white or black truffles, depending on the variety and the season, and the theme even continues with the desserts which feature a black truffle ice cream. There are two tasting menus in addition to the à la carte, plus a shop next door which sells various truffle-based specialities.
