Description
Its somewhat unusual name comes from this building's former occupation as a furniture shop, and its location on a street called 'The Green'. A tasting menu (available in long or short form) removes any time-consuming indecision, so you can get on with the important business of eating well-balanced dishes built on the simple principle of top Cumbrian produce handled with skill – full-flavoured fillet of beef is a prime example. The cheery, personable service is befitting of a cosy neighbourhood operation like this.
