Novaela encapsulates the magic of the Bagijnhof, a historical beguinage. The blend of upscale contemporary design and old architectural features is unique – as, for example, in the oval stone counter and the wooden beams. Daniel Duijster Gomero's cuisine is all about creativity, excitement and beautiful presentation. His surprise menu features some daring ideas such as the unexpectedly harmonious combination of razor clams and beetroot, but also familiar dishes like succulent quail fillet with an exquisite jus. You only have the choice of a six-course set menu and lunch, but you are definitely in safe hands with this chef.
